On the 20th June 2019 Apple announced a recall on a limited number of the 15-inch MacBook Pro (Mid 2015) due to issues with the battery (https://support.apple.com/15-inch-macbook-pro-battery-recall). It is recommended that if your Mac is eligible you book it in for repair as soon as possible as the battery may pose a fire safety risk.
If you have previously purchased a 15-inch MacBook Pro (Mid 2015) from us and would like to check its eligibility for the battery recall please enter your serial number into the tool on Apple's website (https://support.apple.com/15-inch-macbook-pro-battery-recall). You can find your serial number by choosing About This Mac from the Apple menu () in the upper-left corner of the screen.
Since the recall has been announced we have checked current stock of this model and have found a small percentage that are eligible for the recall program, these affected machines have been sent to Apple for a battery replacement under the recall program. All future batches of this model will be checked and repaired under the recall so you can rest assured than any 15-inch MacBook Pro (Mid 2015) purchased from us will have a clean bill of health.
