How do I know what IPhone I have?
When purchasing a new Apple iPhone charger, it’s essential to know your iPhone model to ensure compatibility with the charger.
IPhone SETTINGS
You can easily identify your iPhone model. Simply go to "Settings," then "General," and press "About." This will display the model name, model number and serial number. If you press the model number it will change from Apple Order Number to Apple Model Number.
After identifying your iPhone model number refer to the table below to find the correct charger for your iPhone.

What if my iPhone has no charge? If your iPhone won’t charge or the screen is broken, there are different ways to find the serial or model number depending on the iPhone you have. If you have the a iPhone 5 or iPhone 6, the serial will be available on the rear of the device.
Unlike other Apple devices, most iPhone models do not have the serial number engraved on the rear of the device. For some iPhones, if you remove the sim tray the serial number will be available on the tray. This is available for the iPhone 3 and iPhone 4.
On newer models (iPhone 7 to iPhone 13), the IMEI/MEID number replaced the serial number located on the sim tray. You can search your IMEI number into IMEI.info to find your model number.
As for the iPhone 14, the IMEI/MEID number and serial are no longer located on the sim tray. However, if you were to remove the sim card tray and look into the phone, the model number will be located inside the tray slot.
The iPhone 15 and iPhone 16 have their model numbers engraved inside the USB-C port. It’s quite small, so be sure to shine a light into the port for better visibility.

The final way to check your serial, if you no longer have the box or the receipt, is to check the serial through iCloud. If your iPhone is connected to your iCloud account, you can use another device to sign in. Once you are signed in to iCloud you will be able to see the list of devices that are connected to the account, click on the iPhone and it will display the serial number and model.
